CTMM 2024 Module 2: HEALING AND HOLISTIC LIBERATION : BIBLICAL FOUNDATIONS AND PRACTICES

Our Certificate in Transformational Ministry at the Margins (CTMM) is designed for those already serving (or feeling called to pioneer work) amongst poor and marginalized communities. In this training we seek to deliberately bring together Word, Spirit, and Street perspectives, in order to encourage and further equip practitioners wanting to live and share a liberating and empowering gospel in poor, marginalized, and under-reached communities.

People engaged in ministry encounter spiritual and structural obstacles to personal and social transformation. In this module we deepen our theology of holistic liberation and explore hands-on approaches to physical and inner healing, personal deliverance and other kinds of prayer ministry.

We are now offering Module 2 of our Certificate in Transformational Ministry at the Margins (CTMM) over 13 weeks beginning January 9th as a weekly training via Zoom.

To take CTMM Module 2 you must have completed CTMM Module 1.

• Session 1: Identity and authority in Christ

  -Holistic barriers to liberation defined and summarized (review)

  -Spirit, soul and body distinguished

• Session 2: Deliverance and Holistic liberation in the New Testament

• Session 3: Healing of father wounds

• Session 4: Healing from trauma

• Session 5: The power of forgiveness

• Session 6: Unhealthy beliefs: Identifying & replacing false images of God & self.

• Session 7: Confession, repentance and receiving forgiveness

• Session 8: Healing of mother wounds

• Session 9: Healing of Rejection—Bible study on Jephthah (Judges 11)

• Session 10: Multi-layered, holistic liberation

• Session 11: Freedom from idolatry and animism

• Session 12: Kingdom Identity—freedom from nationalism/powers

• Session 13: Ministry protocol: praying for healing and deliverance
